The Duncan United Church’s Harvest Fair helps to raise funds for the downtown church’s many outreach programs.

The Duncan United Church annual Harvest Fair is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 17 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

It’s the day this hard working congregation takes it to the streets of downtown Duncan to raise money for their outreach programs.

As a “downtown” church these include helping the vulnerable fill out paperwork, feeding the hungry and much more.

Organizers are promising “loads of booths, huge garage sale, plants, books, baking, collectibles, silent auction with some great items and fun games for kids to enjoy along with lots of food and refreshments.”

So, while you’re in Duncan for the Saturday farmers market, why not stop by the church at Jubilee and Ingram to check out what’s happening?

After browsing the booths you can pick up a hotdog or sit and relax while enjoying lunch from their indoor cafe.
