A group of friends who enjoy giving their dogs a chance to do what they do best were busy at a farm on Barnjum Road Saturday morning, Dec. 14.

They were all “working” dogs; breeds born to it and who really enjoy it, loving people and getting bored if they are forced into overly quiet, sedentary lives, the dog-owners said.

So, they brought out their pooches and the neat little wagons they use for hauling, and the dogs carried the Christmas trees chosen by buyers at one of the Valley’s many farms.

The dogs will be out and about again this coming Saturday (Dec. 21) at the Duncan Farmers Market, so keep an eye out for them.
