Maple Bay Yacht Club is hosting their annual lighted boat sail past this weekend in Maple Bay.

On Sunday, Dec. 4 everyone is welcome to head down with their boat, or just to watch from the shore.

The sail past starts at 6:30 p.m.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will be escorted by Mill Bay Search and Rescue fast response vessel. Santa’s boat will arrive at Maple Bay Government docks at about 7:15 with treats for young and old.

Then the couple will make their way to the Maple Bay rowing club for and indoor celebration with hot chocolate and Christmas baking available by donation.

Proceeds will help send the club’s junior crew to St. Catherine’s, Ont. for the Canadian High School Rowing Championships in June of next year.
