Teens are invited to check out a challenge that could net them an iPad mini.

The Teen Summer Challenge, being put on by Vancouver Island Regional Library, gives teens 12 to 18 years of age 55 challenges that can be found at virl.bc.ca/teens/challenge.

Those who want to participate can also stop by any library branch to pick up a booklet with a checklist of all 55 challenges. The challenges range from making public art with removable googly eyes to building crafts out of findable materials.

The program started June 13 and runs until Aug. 31. One grand prize winner will be announced Aug. 31.
