There are a number of things to see and do this Easter weekend if you’re up for getting out of the house with your little ones. In addition to spotting the Palsson students’ hidden easter eggs around town, there’s another type of hunt as well.

New to Lake Cowichan, Little Town Pizza is hoping to quickly become a part of the community by hosting an Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, April 17.

“We are locally owned and operated and enjoy giving back to the community. So come on out; we look forward to seeing all the smiley faces of the little ones with full Easter baskets,” said owner Liam Murray.

While the event is listed as being from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., it’ll end when the supplies run out so your best bet is to get there early.

The hunt will take place in the grassy area next to the Little Town Pizza shop at 39 King George St. in Lake Cowichan proper.

There’ll be a lot of chocolate, toys, and prizes up for grabs — not to mention lunch.

“We will be offering pizza by the slice and pop by donation, with all proceeds going to the Lake Cowichan food bank,” Murray said.
