Motorsport Circuit drives into Christmas with open house

The Christmas spirit was in full bloom

The Christmas spirit was in full bloom at the Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit’s Christmas Open House last weekend.

It was a festive family event with the youngsters enjoying having their pictures taken with Santa, snacking on treats and hot chocolate and having a great time.

The model train display underneath a huge Christmas tree was of particular interest to many of the kids.

For the adults, there were wine tastings by Averill Creek Winery and live music performed by The Jam Factory.

Many of the guests purchased raffle tickets for prizes donated by community organizations and businesses with the proceeds going to the Purica Foundation. The Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit matched the amount raised through the raffle.
