Community members gathered on Nov. 7 to place white crosses on the graves of veterans in the Cowichan Valley.
The placing of the white crosses has become a tradition in advance of Remembrance Day to honour those who fought for Canada.
One of the places visited was St. Francis Xavier Church graveyard in Cobble Hill.
