The Shawningan Players are reprising their play, August: Osage County.

The Shawningan Players are reprising their play, August: Osage County.

The group is taking the black comedy to the festival, which opens in Ladysmith, and in order to help fund that effort, and offer more people the chance to see it in Duncan, they are bringing it back in two performances May 23-24 at the Duncan Showroom.

Doors open both nights at 7 p.m. and showtime is 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door, and are available at Mason’s Store in Shawnigan Lake, at Ten Old Books in Duncan, and at the Showroom. You can also purchase tickets by emailing shawniganplayers@gmail.com.

Only 50 tickets are available for each performance, though, so don’t wait to get them.
