Vehicles just kept on arriving in Lake Cowichan Sunday morning, Sept. 8 as the big show & shine, organized by the town’s 75th anniversary committee, A&W, and the Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit attracted a bumper crop of entries.
Cars from almost every era, motorbikes of every type, ATVs, trucks old and new, they were there.
And lots of people came out to take a look, strolling around the A&W parking lot, the town lot next door, and then Saywell Park as participants were directed to park on the grass.
Hot rods and stockers, pimped out, or rough and ready: iron was on display. It was a great day, and, as with the other 75th anniversary events showed clearly, carefully organized down to every detail.
