The Cowichan Folk Guild’s Bobbie Blue is stepping down as artistic director.
“After 45 years in the business I am retiring at the end of the summer,” she said.
“This will be my last festival so it holds a special place in my heart. I am very happy that Kelly Nakatsuka, formerly of CBC Radio, will be taking over for me as artistic director of the Cowichan Folk Guild in the fall. It will be exciting to see how he programs the 2017 Islands Folk Festival.”
