The Cowichan Valley’s Ashley Daniel Foot will be back on the Cowichan Performing Arts Centre stage with a diverse program this weekend.

In a show they’re calling “Revival”, Foot will be joined by pianist Anthony Dang. Foot himself is a classical vocalist who was raised in the Cowichan Valley, left for 17 years and came back to work as CPAC’s marketing specialist two years ago.

This free concert, which is being streamed online, will feature “eight selections from Schubert’s iconic ‘Winterreise’, eclectic and dramatic music by French composer Francis Poulenc and a sung version of Lewis Carrol’s “Jabberwocky” by American composer Lee Hoiby.”

Dang is a Vancouver-based pianist who will be making his public piano performance debut with this show as a collaborative artist.

The show starts at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 7.
