Early bird ticket deadline fast approaching for Islands Folk Fest

It's a summer tradition in the Cowichan Valley. Don't miss your chance for early bird festival tickets.

Are you planning to attend the Islands Folk Festival July 22-24?

There’s still time to save money on your tickets.

Early bird prices continue until May 31.

The event starts Friday, July 22 with brother and sister folk duo Matthew and Jill Barber.

They are followed by a double set with the Oysterband, coming all the way from the UK. If you have never heard of them, think Spirit of the West. Afterwards, dance to the blues with the KingmiXersfrom Victoria, and to Rockabilly with Cousin Harley (featuring Paul Pigat) from Vancouver.

Early bird weekend passes are available on the festival website, at a cost of $100 for adults, $50 for young music fans 18 and under, and free for festival-goers 12 and under.

On June 1 the prices go up to $125 for adults and $62.50 for youth. Day passes and camping can be bought online as well.
