The Glenora Group for Syria presents a fundraising event Saturday, Nov. 5 at the Quw’utsun Cultural Centre. It’s all about helping Syrian refugees who have settled in the Valley and their families that are still in the danger zone.
The evening begins with Syrian food, music and a silent auction at 6 p.m. with a show at 7 p.m. featuring the Tzinquaw Dancers, Mbira Spirit and the Glenora Farm Bell Choir plus others. Suggested donation is $20 or donate an item to the silent auction. Items can be dropped off at WINGS in Duncan, or call 250-746-9906.
