Amy and Tafadzwa Matamba of the Zimbabwe Music Society are urging Valley residents to come and check out their “Little Zimbabwe” in Mill Bay as they host “Musical Garden Tours” daily from 1-5 p.m. by donation in July at their location at 5778 Noowick Rd.
“Come visit this incredible garden, and enjoy great music, yummy food, and positive vibes,” Amy Matamba said.
Featuring recipes from her upcoming Pie That Flies Kitchen Cookbook, the event will also offer the unusual treat of hearing the pair perform some country classics from the likes of Johnny Cash, Hank Williams and Jim Reeves, as well some traditional Zimbabwe mbira sounds.
