Terry Sheldrake has assembled the group of performers for this event, which hits the Cowichan Performing Arts Centre on Saturday, June 25 starting at 7:30 p.m.

The lineup has more than 100 years of collective musical experience. As individual musicians, each member shines on their own merits, as a collective group of highly talented band members, they’ll rock the theatre, show promoters say.

Lead guitarist Sheldrake loves to sing and in 2015 he was asked to write the theme song and soundtrack for a documentary for Chinese TV, along with other members of the group.

“I was a Beatles fan initially. I still am of course,” Sheldrake says in a press release.

But, change was on the way. As a kid in his mid-teens, his older brother Trevor started to buy albums from bands like Yes, Klaatu, Uriah Heep and Pink Floyd.

“We would hang out and listen to these great bands, and for me it was always ‘Hey, put that Pink Floyd back on.’”

As a fairly new musician back then he found, “listening to Pink Floyd really opened my mind to the possibilities of where I could go with my music. I have always found them to be very interesting, intricate and thought-provoking. Each song it seems intentionally brings out a different mood in people. It is such a pleasure to play these great works of art; in fact it is like when you find the right person for you, the more you learn about them the more you love and appreciate them,” Sheldrake says.

Tickets are $35 each. Get them at cowichanpac.ca or call the Cowichan Ticket Centre at 250-748-7529.
