Providence Farm fundraiser aims to ‘Save This House’

A special fundraising event on Saturday, June 18, is aimed at helping preserve one of the Valley’s beloved buildings: Providence House at Providence Farm, 1843 Tzouhalem Rd.

An event called “Save This House” not only offers the chance to help pay for critical repairs on the structure but a chance to dance under the stars to music from Monte & the Providers, the Deb Rhymer Blues Band, the Smiley Family Band and the Cookie Monsters.

The fun starts at 6 p.m and runs until midnight, with a licensed beverage garden onsite as well as farm food.

Tickets are $30 each at the door ($25 for Cowichan Folk Guild members). Get them online at www.providence.bc.ca, or from Sports Traders or Ten Old Books in Duncan or at Providence Farm itself.

Safe rides home are available from the Cowichan Folk Guild, by donation.
