The Duncan branch of High Definition Roofing Ltd. has taken the top prize in the “Roofing Contractors” category at the 2024 Torch Awards, hosted by the Better Business Bureau Vancouver Island.
High Definition Roofing was the only one of the 15 winners in the annual prestigious competition that is from the Cowichan Valley, with 10 awards going to businesses in Victoria this year.
There were 52 finalists from across Vancouver Island in the competition in 15 categories who were nominated by their customers.
The winners were announced at a gala dinner and awards celebration held on Nov. 1 at the Union Club of B.C. in Victoria.
"We are very proud to have won the 2024 Vancouver Island BBB Torch Awards for the roofing contractors category,” High Definition Roofing said in a statement. “Our owners, office staff, and roofers work hard every day to go above and beyond for our customers. We take pride in our work and it's a great feeling to be recognized for it. A big thank you to the Vancouver Island Better Business Bureau for celebrating trustworthy companies.”
Rosalind Scott, president and CEO of BBB Vancouver Island, said that each year, the business organization honours businesses that go above and beyond when it comes to trustworthy business practices and customer service excellence.
“This year we would like to congratulate the 15 businesses (who won Torch Awards) for their outstanding commitment to our community,” she said.
