Don’t Touch my Baby

To the stranger in line at LifeLabs, when I back away with my baby saying “look, don’t touch”, that is not an invitation to you to move closer and grab my baby’s toes.

I don’t know why you’re at the lab and I don’t know you. Please don’t touch my baby.

To the stranger in the parking lot at Walmart, don’t get in my baby’s face when I’m trying to take my baby out of the car.

To all strangers everywhere, this is a world with outbreaks of measles, mumps, and all kinds of horrible communicable diseases. I don’t care how cute you think my baby is – is this baby yours? No? Then please give us space and don’t touch my baby.
