HOW CAN YOU DETERMINE GLOBAL TEMPERATURE

In answer to John Walker’s statement that “global temperature is next to impossible to obtain” I’d like to respond that there are 6,300 weather stations, research stations, ships and bouys around the world recording daily temperatures and relaying them in real time.

While these 6,300 stations provide air temperature a meter above the ground NASA’s Atmospheric Infrared Sounder (AIRS) satellite is able to measure temperature right at the earth’s surface, our earths skin temperature.
