Chemainus celebrates summer in mural town

Family fun is on the schedule at Chemainus Summer Fest, coming up on Saturday.

It all starts with a pancake breakfast at 8 a.m. Then there’s a parade through downtown beginning at 11 a.m. at Victoria and Willow streets, following Willow to Oak, Oak to Esplanade and Esplanade to Kin Park.

Children’s activities run from 11:45 a.m. to 2 p.m., and starting at 11 a.m. there will be a hamburger and hot dog barbecue in the new Waterwheel Square.

There’s musical entertainments all day with All That Jazz, sponsored by the Chemainus Rotary

Club. So head down to mural town for all the fun.
