The Christmas Parade, organized by the Cowichan Lake District Chamber of Commerce is back this year, marshalling at 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29 and starting from Neva Road at 5:45 p.m. The parade ends at the Saywell Park Visitors Centre on South Shore Road. Lake Cowichan dignitaries will light up the big tree there at 7 p.m. Santa Claus will be on hand to visit with children and there will be opportunities for pictures with him as well as a North Pole Christmas Craft Fair under the gazebo.
