“Rock ’n’ roll is here to stay!†sang the students of Crofton Elementary Community School April 30 as they presented their spring show, entitled Rock’n’ Roll Forever to a big audience of families and friends in two shows in the school gym.
The big room was decorated with a huge 45 record, the kids were all costumed in typical 1950s garb and the music? It was faaaaaantastic.
Songs like Rock Around the Clock, Blue Suede Shoes, Splish Splash I Was Taking a Bath and Jailhouse Rock resounded as toes tapped in the delighted crowd.
