Film series turns its eye to showing how bees key to survival of the planet

Bees are in trouble. Fifty years ago, Einstein said, "If bees were to disappear from the globe mankind would only have four years left to live."

It's a timely subject and it is dealt with in the film More Than Honey, the Eye Opener educational presentation scheduled for showing March 6 at 7 p.m. at Duncan United Church.

Organizers are calling it "a mustsee film for all who care about humanity and our dependent relationship with bees".

It's a film that reveals the bees' inner world and leads viewers to see their survival as our own survival on this planet. Admission is free or by donation but don't miss out this chance to learn more about this vital subject.
