After taking a break, Youth Jammers is starting up again on Friday, Jan. 9 at 7 p.m. at Island Oak High School.
This is a great opportunity for young performers to try out their talents in front of a friendly and supportive all-ages audience.
The first half of the evening is a youth open mic so why not sing a song, play your instrument or try a spoken word performance?
The second half of the evening features Victoria singer songwriter Georgina Nicoll.
She sings, plays piano and guitar and pens her own songs. She has been a member of the Celtic band, The Island Girls, and in November she released a CD of 13 original songs.
Admission is $5 for the listening audience, but there is no charge for the Youth Jammers. So, go to 5814 Banks Rd. in Duncan and let it rip.
