On Feb. 1 at 7:30 p.m., kick off the month with a lineup of three bands Victoria. Longevity John presents rockers The Poubelles, who delve into sounds of modern, garage and glam rock. This trio will be joined by the five piece cover band Karen and the Managers, as well as the five-piece band Five Foot Nine, whose self-described sound is rooted in indie rock. Admission for this night, blending a mix of originals and covers to get your groove on, will be a suggested donation of $20 to $25.

On Feb. 2, at 3 p.m. treat yourself to an afternoon of the worldly and soothing sounds of the sitar with James Hamilton. Hamilton will provide some explanation as he performs, taking audience members through this musical journey. A $20 donation is suggested.

What better way to settle in to the year of the snake on the lunisolar Chinese calender than with a night of music with Monte and the Pythons at 6:30 p.m. as they present 'something completely different'. This bi-monthly musical series features Monte Nordstrom, John Robertson, and Nick Jarvie as they showcase original material, with some special guests sitting in. They will hit the Showroom stage again at the same time on Feb. 17. A donation of $20 is suggested.

On Feb. 4, at 5:30 p.m., Eugene Smith and Bill Levity present the 'Eugene and Billie Show' with an evening of music, stage banter, and interviews with their invited guests. A donation allows you to be part of the live studio audience. The boys will be back at the same time on Feb. 11 to celebrate their 100th episode.
Life is not a dress rehearsal, so stick around or swing by for 7:30 p.m. to unleash your hidden talents. The Showroom's 'Dress Rehearsal Tuesday', also known as their open-mic night, is a great chance for newcomers to get their feet wet, or for past performers to bring new material to the stage. Whether you sing, play an instrument or both it is your time to shine. Each participant is allowed up to three songs, and performances will be broadcast to both Facebook and YouTube. The cover for all is $5, with the next opportunity to show your talents and skills at the same time on Feb. 11.

On Feb. 5 at 7:30 p.m., escape the winter blues with the blues styling of Canadian producer, musician, and songwriter Charlie A' Court. Hailing from the east coast and having travelled extensively throughout Canada, Germany, and the land Down Under, this will be his second time on the Showroom stage as he performs music from his most recent album San Palarino which he released in October, 2024. Tickets are $25.

Don't think for a moment you need liquid courage to sing your heart out. Bring your 'chops' and join in on the fun with the Showroom's 'Sober Karaoke'. Sign up starts at 6:30 p.m. and performers hit the stage when the clock strikes seven. The cover for all is $5.

On Feb. 8 at 7:30 p.m., come see the talent of Van City's six-piece band Orchid Orchestra bloom on the Showroom stage as they give audience members soul stirring harmonies, fusing the elements of modern pop, hip-hop and choral music, which will be performed by Nanaimo's choral group Juice. Tickets are $20.

Music lovers will be in for a special treat on Feb. 9 at 3 p.m., as the Showroom presents St. Cecilia, an all female tribute band to women who have left their mark in music. The band, named for the patroness of music, is comprised of guitarist Carla Olive, bassist Lindsay Ward, and drummer Amber Banman. They will cover both modern and classic tunes in the genres of pop, rock, and country which was sung, and/or written by women.
Through the three-part harmony from these women who hail from Victoria, audience members can expect to be fully entertained with songs from powerful female performers such as Dolly Parton, Joan Jett, Sheryl Crow, and Amy Winehouse. Tickets are $20.
The good times don't stop there as at 7:30 p.m. the Showroom presents award winning guitarists David Gogo and Tim Williams, alongside percussion cocktail kit wiz Kevin Belzner. This is a chance for music lovers to see acoustic blues. Experience this cool concert for $30.

On Feb. 14 at 7:30 p.m., Longevity John offers up a sweet musical treat for anyone who feels there should be more love songs in the world. Bring your special someone to the Showroom to enjoy the talents of Cowichan Valley singer/songwriter Tai Williams. Tickets are $20.

On Feb. 16, the Showroom presents seasoned singer/songwriter, story-teller and multi-instrumentalist Ed Peekeekoot. See him in action from his blazing guitar, to foot-stomping fiddle and the sweet soothing sounds of his wooden Native flute which are all complimented by his Cree humour and philosophy. A $20 donation is suggested.

On Feb. 25 at 7:30 p.m., channel your inner wordsmith with Bill Levity as he hosts For the Love of Words (FLOW). This is a chance for writers of all genres and poets to bring their favourite words to the stage as they are given five minutes to share their creative works. FLOW is celebrating its 17th year. Admission for readers is $5 and $7 for all other audience members.

On Feb. 27 at 7:30 p.m., the Showroom presents the dynamic duo of Scott Cook and Pamela Mae. Cook, who is originally from Alberta, quit his job teaching kindergarten in Taiwan in 2007 to move into a minivan and pursue a career in music, and has been making his living as a troubadour ever since. He has seven albums under his guitar strap, has toured across Canada, the U.S., Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand and other world locations, averaging 150 shows and a dozen summer festivals a year. Tickets for this concert are $25.

On Feb. 28 at 7:30 p.m, end the month on a high note with the music of Cowichan Valley singer/songwriter, producer and recording engineer JaBlu who will be joined by Terry Wicks and friends. This artist, who wowed audiences with his past performances for 39 Days of July, will once again turn up the heat with another stellar evening of entertainment alongside his musical mates. A $20 donation is suggested.
