Fall in love with local artists at Duncan's Station Street Gallery

Duncan gallery hosts open house for new exhibit on Sept. 5

As we move into the autumn season, art aficionados have a reason to fall in love with local talent and their mediums.

Linda Roseneck, owner of Station Street Gallery in downtown Duncan, is once again shining a light on two local artists. The first is Brian Rombough, a carver who works with big leaf maple and marble, while the second artist will feature her works in stained glass mosaic.

The opening night for the works of both artists will be on Sept. 5 from from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and the event will feature live music and refreshments.

"Rombough has had showings in Victoria and has some magnificent pieces on display," said Roseneck. "Our other featured artist has done does replicas of the Group of Seven and Emily Carr in glass.

Art pieces range in size from moderate to large wall size, and both artists will have their work featured until Sept. 15.
