Kaatza Lakeside Players holding auditions for 'Girls Weekend'

Auditions on Sept. 16 and 18 at Lake Cowichan Centennial Hall

As a follow up to their production last February of Million Dollar Meatballs, the Kaatza Lakeside Players are offering local actors who are hungry to get back on stage the opportunity to audition for their new production Girls Weekend written by Karen Schaeffer.

Girls Weekend, which is the Lakeside Players' third production since COVID that will be directed by Katie Nott, is looking for four men, and four women to join the cast.

"We wanted a comedy, and we wanted to do something a little edgy, and this script has it all," said Nott.

Auditions will be held on Sept. 16 and 18  from 6 to 9 p.m. at Lake Cowichan Centennial Hall located at 309 South Shore Rd.

"This show is full of comedy, romance, and drama, and the set is going to be fun to build," said Nott. "Our audience is really going to enjoy this one."
