Arrest warrant issued for Ladysmith man after sex assault on railway tracks

An arrest warrant has been issued for a 25-year-old Ladysmith man

An arrest warrant has been issued for a 25-year-old Ladysmith man following the sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl in Nanaimo.

Nanaimo RCMP reported the incident took place Feb. 12, along the railway tracks near Hecate Street, behind the Islamic Cultural Centre.

The warrant is out for Kynan James Krogel, described by police as a white man, six-foot-one and approximately 180 pounds. He has light brown hair, blue eyes and often sports a blond beard, which he recently shaved off.
