The Lake Cowichan fire protection boundary has been extended.
The Cowichan Valley Regional District received written requests from Laketown Ranch and the adjacent property owner for inclusion into the Lake Cowichan fire protection service area through the extension of the area boundaries. The annual cost of providing fire protection services will be recovered through property value taxes within the serviced properties.
