Carved wooden sign stolen from Camp Pringle in Shawnigan Lake

Camp Pringle in Shawnigan Lake is upset after their sign was stolen last night, Nov. 18.

In a post on their Facebook page, the camp said “We are devastated to report that sometime last night our Camp Pringle sign was stolen. This wooden medallion is a treasured piece of our camp’s history that was beautifully carved by a valued member of the Shawnigan Lake community.”

The camp is run by the United Church of Canada.

Camp Pringle is asking anyone who has any information about the theft to contact 250-743-2189 or the Shawnigan Lake RCMP at 250-743-5514.
