The Quw’utsun’ Mustimuhw National Aboriginal Day will be held Thursday, June 19 this year.
From 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Cowichan Tribes recreational fields at 5574 River Rd. everyone is welcome to join what organizers are calling "an afternoon of celebration, fun and laughter."
Activities include children’s games and races, and lots of physical activity for everyone with a bouncy castle, obstacle course and rock climbing wall, plus face painting and bird house building.
You can also enjoy lunch from noon to 2 p.m. and then watch local dancers, singers and musicians perform.
