Duncan - Why do you think ferry fares on and off the islands have gone up consistently over the years?
With the talk yet again around bridging islands, this time Gabriola, I have to ask.Could there be lobbying behind the oceanic scene, folks with an agenda? I can only guess.Keep raising the boarding cost incrementally. Reduce sailing times. Make people surly until they convince themselves a bridge is the only viable option.I truly hope such a game isn't being played here.If there is, I hope we can outlast, outwit such players - and vote them off the islands!Cheryl TrudellDuncan
