Flooding closes Cowichan Bay Road

A lot of rain fell, and the area saw some consequences from the deluge.

The big storm that hit the west coast of British Columbia yesterday gave the Cowichan Valley only a glancing blow, sparing the area the worst of the winds.

Mainroad South Island Contracting sent out a notification on Friday morning that Cowichan Bay Road is closed between the Trans Canada Highway and Tzouhalem Road due to flooding.
