The CVRD and BC Transit have a deal that offers some after-hours fun for those who pick up a transit pass.
Buy a monthly transit pass and take advantage of a new promotion offering a free swim or skate with last month’s expired Cowichan Valley Transit pass.
There are six participating locations: Cowichan Aquatic Centre, Cowichan Lake Sports Arena, Frank Jameson Community Centre, Fuller Lake Arena, Island Savings Centre and Kerry Park Recreation Centre.
The promotion started on Sept. 1 and includes local Cowichan Valley and Cowichan Valley Commuter monthly transit passes.
