UPDATE: Missing Duncan teen Cera Qwulshemut found safe

UPDATE: Police have confirmed that missing teen Cera Qwulshemut has been found safe and sound.

A missing 15-year-old girl from Duncan has North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP asking for the public’s assistance.

Cera Qwulshemut was last seen on Oct. 15 at 5:30 p.m. in front of Shoppers Drug Mart on Trans-Canada Highway in Duncan, according to Const. Pam Bolton, First Nations Policing Liaison Officer.

“She was last seen wearing a black jacket, polka dot rain boots and carrying a white back pack. Family and friends are concerned for Cera and her wellbeing. She is described as a 15-year-old First Nations girl with short brown hair. Qwulshemut is 4 foot 9 inches tall, and weighs approximately 100 pounds.”

As RCMP investigators continue to search for Cera Qwulshemut they are asking the public to remain watchful for her.
