I wonder if Mr. Barker fully appreciates the irony of his letter to the Citizen (June 24, 2015).He began by warning us to be mindful "of political rhetoric and misinformation" but then went on to fill a couple of columns with partisan ramblings and, well, "political rhetoric and misinformation".If intended to be a satire about the upcoming campaign, and if successful in his bid to represent the Conservative Party, I could almost bring my self to vote for him for this bit of pre-election levity.Hiram BeaubierChemainus
