STATE-OF-THE-ART PUBLIC ART GALLERY PLANS REVEALED

“The CPAG, as it progresses toward its goal, will be a dedicated venue for contemporary art exhibitions, classes and events that will contribute not only to the culture and economy of the Cowichan Valley, but also to the prosperity of the entire island,” a release from the society said.

“We are very happy to have Alistair MacGregor as our champion for this valuable arts project.”

The release said the CPAG is deeply grateful to Crowder for her steady and gracious support.

“It has been a privilege to serve as the honorary chair of the CPAG,” Crowder said.

“This is an amazing group of dedicated and hardworking volunteers who are working tirelessly to develop connections between art and our communities, including a developing plans for an art gallery that will bring world-class exhibits to the Cowichan Valley.
