Paramedics and firefighters helped rescue a hiker from Mount Tzouhalem on Sunday afternoon.
Three volunteer firefighters accompanied paramedics up the mountain from Providence Farm to assist the hiker, who was found to be in "cardiac distress."
The man, believed to be in his 40s, was hiking with his four kids when the incident occurred.
He was taken to hospital by ambulance following the rescue.
A medevac helicopter had been called but was deemed unnecessary.
