After a theft from a vehicle in Mill Bay, Shawnigan Lake RCMP are advising residents of the area to keep their eyes open for similar incidents.
"In recent years Mill Bay has experienced similar thefts from motor vehicles where keys, and or garage door openers are stolen, which the thieves can then use to gain access to the vehicle owners house," Const. Kevin Hopkinson said. "Police would like to remind residents to make sure valuables, and any means of house access are stored out of sight."
