Missing Cowichan man's body found on mountain

The body of a 79-year-old Duncan man who went missing in September was found near Maple Mountain earlier this week, according to the North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP. A massive search for Tony Morley in late September and early October failed to turn up any trace of him. Morley was last seen on Sept. 21. His car was found on Osborne Bay Road near Maple Mountain Park, where he was believe to have gone hiking.

"There was somebody found that they have identified as him," Cpl. Jon Stuart confirmed, adding that Morley's family has been informed.
