It's been a year since Everet Jones went missing in the Cowichan Valley.

Jones, 47, went missing on Feb. 10, 2016.

He left his home on Club Road in Duncan at at approximately 11 a.m. that day and at 2:30 p.m., he was seen making a withdrawal from the Bank of Montreal on Station Street.

He then walked to The Mound, located at the intersection of Cowichan Way and Trunk Road, and consumed a quantity of alcohol.

It is believed he stayed at The Mound for several hours, but it is unknown when he left. Normally, Jones would have walked back to his home on Club Road, but he never arrived home and has not been seen since.

Jones is a First Nations man, 5 foot 10, 170 lbs and has short dark hair.

He wears glasses, has no teeth and is cognitively impaired.

He also wore a white lanyard around his neck.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Jones is asked to contact North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP at 250-748-5522, or Crime Stoppers at cowichancrimestoppers.com.
