Sahtlam firefighters were called out to a motor vehicle incident about 2:30 p.m. Monday, July 25 in which a vehicle and the trailer it was towing ended up overturned in the ditch on the north side of Highway 18 on Hill 60.
Firefighters quickly moved to drain the fuel from the vehicle and remove propane tanks from the trailer while a traffic controller allowed motorists to inch slowly by the scene.
One person was taken to hospital by ambulance.
