A puppy is missing after a truck with camper was stolen from a Langford job site with the dog inside.

The vehicle, with a three-month-old Pomeranian inside, was stolen May 26 between 1 and 6 a.m. from the area of Goldstream Avenue and Jacklin Road, West Shore RCMP said in a news release.

Shawnigan Lake RCMP later recovered the camper abandoned in the area of Kapoor Main, without the truck or puppy.

The stolen truck is a grey, 2006, Ford F-250, super cab bearing a British Columbia licence plate PM7621.

Anyone who sees the truck or an unattended dog that fits the description to call West Shore RCMP at 250-474-2264.
