Chemainus volunteer firefighters and BC Ambulance personnel move a cyclist to a waiting helicopter following a collision last Saturday morning. Just before 8 a.m., the cyclist was struck by a vehicle near the intersection of Chemainus and Victoria roads. Two ground ambulances and one air ambulance responded, and the patient was flown to Victoria General Hospital in critical condition.
