Island favourite Dierks Bentley is joining Carrie Underwood for a star-studded Sunfest 2016. He last played the event in 2012.
"He is hugely popular and I think it was a conscious choice that our talent buyers made, to bring him back," Sunfest spokesperson Emmalee Brunt said. "He's definitely a fan favourite. Our talent buying process typically lasts about a year, carefully choosing the talent to fit the bill. And with Carrie Underwood, he would be a great match. We will have other headliners announced; we're still working on them."
Tickets for Sunfest 2016 go on sale Monday, Aug. 24 a.m. for previous customers.
