Duncan - I am writing you today to please ask you to support B.C. residents' rights to socialized medicine like our counterparts in Ontario, the UK, France, Scandinavia, Germany, etc.
We have an ever growing seniors population who have been paying taxes in this province and elsewhere for 60-plus years, and need a supportive health care system. Mr. [Brian] Day is a capitalist who represents individuals that want to profit from health care like our neighbours to the south. How many people have needlessly died in the U.S. because they could not afford proper health care?I truly hope that you will stand on the side of a moral and just society versus one based on the needs of the few.
