The fabulous felines of Facebook

Aug. 8 has come and gone and with it, the official International Cat Day. But let’s be honest, cat lovers. Every day is Cat Day if you’ve got a feline friend.

We posted a story on Facebook and asked our readers to share photos of their precious purrers and readers did not disappoint.

SEE RELATED: It’s International Cat Day

We received more than 100 photos of cats, large and small, with coats long and short or no coat at all! Here are just a few of our favourites:

“This is Daisy! Newly adopted from Cowichan Cat Rescue and Foster Kritters!” wrote Kelly Chamchuk.

“Totally normal cat behaviour ❤️ This is Jinx (named by her boys after the Pokémon Jinx) and she is the strangest, most wonderful cat. Now 3 yrs old,” wrote Suzy Davis.

“Tiki… my little sweet girl,” wrote Louisa Berto’k.

“Baby Loki ,” wrote Lisa Hales.

“Willow,” wrote Kelly Steeves Kirby.

“This is Walter & Clive, best buds up until Walter passed in February ❤️,” wrote Masika Woods.
