Georgia Strait lights up with annual herring spawn

The Comox Valley Record, a Black Press publication based in Courtenay, was emailed an aerial view of the herring spawn off the Comox shoreline Friday afternoon.

Wildlife activity near the shores along the entire Georgia Strait has increased with this natural annual phenomenon.
