Mr. Swiatlowski's Tax Busters group has already been called out by North Cowichan Councillor [Al] Siebring for distorting facts, and unfortunately we need to do so, too.
His letter to the Citizen alleges that One Cowichan's community survey is part of a conspiracy to raise taxes. While there is a question about people's opinion on local tax rates, we let respondents answer that for themselves.
Feel free to take the survey at onecowichan.ca and you can decide. Results will be released in early October.
