Turn on running lights so those behind can see you

Cobble Hill - I want to encourage all drivers of vehicles with automatic daytime driving lights to turn on their running lights. As they do not come on at the same time, your vehicle cannot be seen in inclement weather by those behind you. For your own safety, your rear lights are just as important as your front ones. It helps the person following to determine their distance from you, especially in the fog.

Transport Canada has not mandated the industry to do this, as I found out, but they should treat it more seriously.Ed AikenCobble Hill
